11/24/2023 0 Comments Myst toothbrush reviews![]() A sonic toothbrush w/reg toothpaste, a water pick, floss, mouthwash, & consistency is still the ticket to good oral hygiene. Unfortunately, this just is not the Second Coming of dental care as you might be lead to believe it is. But, that's just me hypothesizing it's a blue light & that's not its intended purpose. But, hypothetically, lower intensity LEDs that lightly cross into the UV-A spectrum & are only present for ~30 seconds, that seems like it could destroy germs without the severe damage of high intensity LEDs that bleed into the UV-B, & even the UV-C spectrum, that might have required more than 30s exposures. The manner in which that is performed is considered relatively bad. It resembles light accelerated whitening procedures performed by dentists, & those have been known to emit light well into the UV spectrum. The blue LEDs are the one thing I thought might show promise in terms of efficacy. ![]() It's sold via infomercial, through their own website or other unrecognized retailer websites, using sales tactics known to drive sales that would otherwise be unethical for a licensed dentist (in the US I assume likewise in every Nation belonging to the G7 I'm guessing the full G8 as well, but.that's whole different issue unrelated to dental products & dentistry in general) to engage in without losing their license to practice (Professional Ethics refers to it as a Conflict of Interest so no "Act Now!" or "50% off if you call in the next 35s!" or "Supplies are unbelievably limited!" That just doesn't fly. Max Spicer "allegedly" created the Myst Toothbrush because, not only is he NOT rather well-known & NOT easily recognizable, there's a notably growing suspicion to whether or not the person actually exists.Or, maybe the German Dentist doesn't regularly engage the public, I guess.(?) Anything is possible. Max Spicer.of course it's Dentist Recommended or Approved! But Dr. Allegedly created by the rather well-known & easily recognizable dentist Dr. ![]() The first clinical study out of the gates in 2020 equated the Myst Toothbrush to that of not brushing at all. The sonic brushes are not able to sufficiently remove plaque from the teeth, particularly in the areas they cannot reach. Someone requires a Dentist prescribed toothpaste, instead they buy the Myst toothpaste not fully understanding why they might be prescribed a toothpaste (i.e., it's different), thus potentially exacerbating the problem. The end result will still be the destruction of one's teeth to varying degrees. People don't buy it, & either still use w/o, w a different toothpaste altogether regardless, or switch back to the standard brush that's been destroying our teeth. Such a high reoccurring price for full functionality, especially if people perceive that as their only option (& buy it or don't buy it), it could really turn into a bad situation fast. Toothpaste - Myst toothpaste is the only toothpaste that will fully enable all features of the brush. BUT! The multiple flaws as I see it are: 1. Myst has NO single tragic flaw-no one will write a tragedy based on a toothbrush because it sounds just ridiculous, & because it has multiple flaws that any such tragedy wouldn't be well-received.i.e., it would probably suck. point made! So! What is (are) the flaw(s)?!. Ok?-What's the fatal flaw.? The tragedians of the Days of Old made tragic flaws quite apparent! Achilles, Oedipus, Helen, etc. Plus, 30s to brush?! Holy smokes! Go buy one now then, right?! Sure, if you want?-But, as with all things that present as that perfect solution we've always been looking for.so too does the Myst Toothbrush reveal itself to be flawed, potentially of the tragic variety. ![]() And it even incorporates advanced whitening technology, the sort that is ostensibly akin to a Professional Dentist facilitated procedure. Myst additionally incorporates the significant advantages of sonic brushing. The Myst Toothbrush is certainly an attention grabber! It has a radically different form factor than any standardized toothbrush made over the last 100+ years (just as claimed, that is true). ![]()
